Amazon uses a "5S" system to organize spaces so that work can be performed safety, efficiently, and effectively. Designated areas are highlighted using coloured tape.
Yellow lines highlight 5s locations where items, tools and equipment belong.
Any items left in undesignated 5S locations need to be removed immediately and taken back to their designated 5s location.
This will make it easier for you and other employees to do your jobs without wasting time or risking injury.
